Turlood Equestrian Junior Camp

Bring your horse/pony and join us for a fun filled two days!

Thursday 1st August

- Arrival from 9am

- First ridden session

- Second Ridden Session

- Finish the Ponies for the evening

- Fun, Games, Disco etc

Friday 2nd August

- Breakfast

- Third Ridden Session

- Pony Decorating/Show Prep

- Lunch

- Showing & Jumping Competition

Ridden Sessions will include:

Flatwork, Poles, Games, Jumping & Cross Country Training (Skull caps & Body protectors compulsory)

​

Open to all riders aged 4 - 17 years, including lead rein.

Riders will be grouped by age & ability

​

What’s included in the price:

- 1 x Overnight Stabling, Haylage & Straw Bedding

- 3 x Lessons & Facilities included

- Competition/Pony Parade & Rosette

- All meals included (1 x Breakfast, 2 x Lunch & 1 x Dinner)

- Toilets & Shower

Addition nights stabling (Wednesday or Friday) £30 per night

Both coaches have vast experience working with all types of horse and rider.

Riders will be grouped by ability & age

- Lead Rein / 20-30cm

- 40cm - 60cm

- 60cm - 90cm

Cost: £180 (£80 deposit required)

A very small number of riding school horses are also available to hire (£225)

Total price includes 1 x riding child & 1 x accompanying adult.

All additional accompanying adults that require food must pay a £30 surcharge per person  & additional children £20

​

Children must be accompanied at all times.

We do not provide any type of accommodation. All types of accommodation welcome: tents, lorries, trailers, caravans etc

Hook-up is not provided.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT

On booking a £100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is taken to secure your space on the camp.

Deposits cannot be swapped to another date or event for any reason.

Remaining balance must be paid at least 3 weeks before the camp start date. If payment is not received, then you will forfeit your space and deposit.

All cancellations must be emailed to info@turloodstables.co.uk.

For cancellations within 14 days of event - payment WILL NOT be refunded. 

We can only refund deposits or full payments if we can fill the space with another rider. 

If we do not meet the minimun number or riders required then the event will be cancelled and all monies refunded in full. 

CORONAVIRUS

Should another lockdown be imposed, and the camp is unable to run due to Coronavirus, ALL bookings will be held in credit and we will reschedule as soon as possible.

UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE

Cancelled clinic/camps/other events – In the unfortunate and unlikely event that any training or events are cancelled due to weather, instructor illness or something out of our control then your payment will be used as credit towards another event/camp.

Body protectors and skull caps MUST be worn on the cross-country course. This is mandatory and if you are not wearing one when you arrive at your lesson you will be asked to leave.

Riding is a high-risk sport – Each horse is the responsibility of its owner, and all activities are at your own risk. You must have your own rider insurance.

NO DOGS are allowed.

Any damage or breakages to any jumps/ other facilities are the responsibility of the rider and will be charged for.
